We’re trade friendly, easy to deal with, and happy to support both repeat work and one off jobs when you need a reliable finish without the usual hassle.

Powder Coating Services Built around your Parts

Not every job is the same. A light aluminium extrusion needs different handling to a heavy steel gate.

Our powder coating services cover:

  • Aluminium extrusions, frames and components

  • Mild steel and galvanised fabrications

  • Brackets, fixtures and general metalwork

Tell us what you’re coating, where it will be used and what it needs to handle, and we’ll match the powder, finish and process to suit.

Prep, Process & Quality Control

Good powder coatings start long before the powder hits the part. If you skip prep, you get peeling, rust and call backs.

Every job goes through a clear process:

  • Cleaning and degreasing to remove oils and dirt

  • Surface preparation to tackle rust, scale or oxidation

  • Pre treatment so the powder bonds properly

  • Controlled curing, checked against the right times and temperatures

Parts are inspected before and after coating to ensure a finish that looks right on day one and holds up over time.

A powder coating partner you can trust.

Capacity for Small Parts & Long Profiles

From compact brackets to long profiles, we have the space and kit to handle a wide mix of work.

  • Oven capacity up to 6.9m in length

  • Suitable for longer aluminium extrusions and steelwork

  • Thoughtful jigging and hanging to keep parts stable

  • Batch friendly processes for repeat orders

You get the flexibility of a local, family run shop with the capacity to take on more than just odd bits of metal here and there.

Why use our Powder Coating Service

Plenty of places offer powder coating. The difference is how seriously they take preparation, consistency and communication.

Customers choose The Powder Coaters because:

  • We prep properly, every time
Cleaning, pre-treatment and checks are built into every job, not added on when there’s time.

  • We know how different metals behave
Aluminium, mild steel and galvanised parts do not coat the same. We adjust the process to suit the material.

  • We cure under control for consistent results
Powder coating only performs as well as the cure. We keep curing consistent so colour and finish stay even.

  • We’re honest about lead times
Clear timeframes and updates you can plan around. No vague promises, no last-minute surprises.

  • We’re easy to work with
Straight answers, simple pricing and communication that keeps jobs moving.

  • We support one-offs and repeat work
From a single job to regular batch work, we fit around your workflow and keep standards the same.

If you want a powder coating service that treats your parts with care and keeps its word, we are set up for that.

Frequently asked questions

Can you coat parts that already have paint, rust, or old powder?

Often, yes, but the finish depends on what’s underneath. Old coatings, rust and contamination can cause failures if not dealt with properly, so we’ll advise on the right prep before coating. Send a photo and we’ll tell you what needs doing.

How do I get a quote?

Use the form above, give us a call or email us at hello@thepowdercoaters.co.uk. Send a couple of photos if available, dimensions, what material it is, how many parts, and your colour/finish idea. If you’re not sure on the finish, tell us where it will be used and we’ll recommend one.

What information do you need?

Ideally: material type, any existing paint/powder to remove, colour (RAL if you have it), finish (matt/satin/gloss), and whether anything needs masking (threads, holes, mating faces). If you don’t know all of that yet, photos are enough to start.

Do you handle one-off jobs and small batches?

Yes. We coat one-offs, repairs and small batches, as well as repeat trade work. If it’s a single part, just share the size and a photo and we’ll tell you the best way to run it.

What colours and finishes do you offer?

We can coat in most standard RAL colours and a wide range of finishes, including smooth, textured, matt, satin and gloss. If you’re trying to match an existing colour, tell us what it’s going next to and we’ll guide you to the closest option.

What lead times should I expect?

Lead times depend on prep needs, colour choice and how busy we are. We’ll give you a realistic timeframe when we quote and we’ll keep you updated if anything changes. If you have a deadline, tell us upfront and we’ll confirm what’s possible.
